Overvolt HT 2026
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The Lapierre Overvolt HT is the brand's entry-level hardtail eMTB, built around a Supreme 5 aluminium frame and a Bosch Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm) drawing on the gravity of an integrated PowerTube downtube pack: 800Wh on the flagship 8.8 High, 600Wh on the 6.6 High. There is no rear shock and no rear travel; all 120mm of squish sits up front.
The frame uses a size-split wheel layout, with the smaller S and M frames on 27.5in wheels (steeper 68 degree head angle, 465mm stays) and the larger L and XL on 29in (67 degree head angle, 475mm stays). The 74 degree seat angle and roomy 422 to 472mm reach span keep the fit sensible for trail duty rather than pure cross country.
Build kit is honest commuter-to-trail fare: Shimano CUES U6000 10 or 11 speed, MT401 two piston hydraulic brakes on 203mm rotors front and rear, and Ryde Disc30 rims. The 8.8 High earns Maxxis Minion DHF and Rekon rubber plus a Limotec dropper, where the 6.6 High runs Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres and a rigid alloy post. At 23.7kg it is no featherweight, but the 800Wh battery and CX motor make it a capable first electric hardtail for mixed trails.
