KTM Macina Kapoho 2023

The 2023 KTM Macina Kapoho was the Austrian brand's 160mm enduro eMTB, built on the in-house STRAIGHT-LINE-LINK suspension and powered throughout by the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 (85Nm) with the Smart System and a 750Wh PowerTube. Every trim ran KTM's DiMMiX mullet wheel concept, a 29in front paired with a 27.5in PLUS rear, for stability up front and traction at the back.Six builds spanned two frames. The carbon Prestige, Master and Elite sat near 25kg, topped by the Prestige with a Fox 36 Factory fork, Float X Factory shock and a Shimano XTR groupset. The aluminium 7971, 7972 and 7973 came in heavier at 27.5 to 27.8kg, ranging from a wireless SRAM GX Eagle AXS build on the 7971 down to a SRAM SX Eagle and Suntour-shocked 7973.Geometry was middle-of-the-road for the era: a 65.3-degree head angle on the carbon frames (66 degrees on alloy), a 76.5-degree effective seat angle and 442mm chainstays across all three sizes (M, L, XL).
