Slack 63.5° head angle, 180mm travel and a long 1305mm wheelbase — composed in the chunk, confident when it gets steep, and stable through fast corners.

Heavy-hitting 180mm alloy enduro on punchy Yamaha power

The Haibike Nduro (2022) is a gravity-focused enduro and freeride eMTB built on a new aluminium frame with a four-bar linkage, 180mm of travel front and rear and a mullet wheel setup running a 29in front wheel and a 27.5in rear. Power comes from Yamaha's compact PW-X3 motor rated at 85Nm, fed by an in-tube battery of 630Wh on the Nduro 6 and 750Wh on the Nduro 7 and Nduro 8 Freeride. This model has been discontinued, so there is no long-term owner data to draw on here.
The range spans three builds. The Nduro 6 is the value entry point at 4,899 pounds, with a RockShox Domain R fork, Super Deluxe Select shock, two-piston TRP Slate brakes and a SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain. The Nduro 7 steps up to 5,599 pounds with a Fox Performance 38 fork, Fox Float X2 shock, four-piston Magura MT7 brakes, a Shimano SLX drivetrain and Mavic E-Deemax wheels. The Nduro 8 Freeride tops the range at 6,699 pounds with premium Öhlins DH38 M.1 fork and TTX 22 M coil shock, Magura MT7 brakes on a 220mm front rotor, a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain and a Raceface cockpit.
Geometry is firmly descent-biased across the four frame sizes: a slack 63.5 degree head angle, reach growing from 425mm on the S to 510mm on the XL, a tall stack, a consistent 460mm chainstay and wheelbases from 1,245mm to 1,339mm. That points the Nduro squarely at steep, technical descents, bike park laps and long-travel freeride use while the Yamaha motor handles the climb back up.
What the numbers mean on the trail
Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.
More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
Balanced front-to-rear in L (FC:RC 1.84) — weight sits evenly between the wheels.
Climbs well — a 75° seat keeps the front planted. 500W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
Rewards commitment; it should feel calmer as the speed rises.
Brilliant on fast, rough, steep terrain; less fun on tight, mellow trails.
