EMTB Forums verdict

The 2022 Haibike AllTrack 9 is an aluminium hardtail eMTB built around the Bosch Performance CX Gen 4 (Smart System) motor and a 750Wh integrated PowerTube battery, with an optional range extender taking total capacity to around 1125Wh. It is a trail-oriented hardtail rather than an enduro or trekking machine, running a 120 mm RockShox 35 Silver fork and mixed wheel sizing of 27.5in on size S and 29in on M, L and XL.

The build pairs a SRAM SX Eagle shifter and GX Eagle rear derailleur over an 11-50T 12-speed cassette, with Tektro Orion M745 four-piston hydraulic brakes on a 203 mm front rotor and Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance 2.6in tyres. The cockpit is Haibike's own kit: an 780 mm TheBar ++ handlebar, TheStem ++ and an aluminium TheSeatpost ++, topped with an XLC MTB saddle.

Geometry is moderate by 2022 standards, with a 66 degree head angle and 73 degree seat angle across the 29in sizes, reach growing from 427 mm on the M to 462 mm on the XL, and chainstays of 470 mm. Stepping up the range, the AllTrack 10 swaps in a RockShox 35 Gold RL fork and the flagship AllTrack 11 adds a dropper post and an integrated ABS option, all sharing the same Bosch CX Gen 4 platform.

This bike is discontinued, so availability is limited to remaining stock and the used market. Launch UK pricing was around £3,799.99 for the AllTrack 9, with the 10 and 11 sitting above it.

What the numbers mean on the trail

Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.

Descending
52

A solid all-round descender (66° head angle, 120mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.

Playfulness
45

A fair bit of pop, but happiest on flowing trail rather than trials moves.

Size balance
61

Rear-long with a planted front in L (FC:RC 1.61) — easy to weight the front and quick to turn, though it can feel light at the back at real speed.

Technical climbing
72

Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 4 and a steep 73° seat angle keep the weight planted over the front — a proper winch. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.

Best suited toAll-round trail riding across mixed terrain.

No single standout trait — a balanced, versatile bike.

Watch out forNo major red flags in the L geometry.

The numbers are well balanced for its category.
