EMTB Forums verdict

The Uproc EVO:X is Flyer's carbon e-enduro, built around the latest Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 5 motor (100 Nm) with an integrated 800 Wh battery and the option of a 250 Wh Bosch PowerMore range extender. Travel is generous at 170 mm rear, paired with a 170 to 180 mm fork depending on trim, and a mullet wheel layout pairs a 29 inch front with a 27.5 inch rear.

Geometry is firmly in modern enduro territory: a 63.8 degree head angle, 75.9 degree effective seat angle, a 445 mm chainstay across every size and a low 30 mm bottom bracket drop. Reach runs from 465 mm on the combined S/M up to 540 mm on the XXL, with wheelbases stretching to 1348 mm, so the larger frames are long and stable rather than nimble.

The two current trims share the same frame, motor and 800 mm bar. The 4.10 keeps costs down with a RockShox ZEB R fork, SR Suntour shock, Shimano Deore 12 speed mechanical shifting and Shimano four piston brakes. Stepping up to the 8.50 buys a Fox 38 Performance fork with 180 mm travel, a Fox Float X2 shock, SRAM GX Eagle Transmission electronic shifting, Shimano XT brakes and a DT Swiss H1900 wheelset. Both come with permanently fitted seat stay lights and a MonkeyLink front light interface, plus long chainstay and main bearing protection.
