Devinci E-Troy Lite 2025
EMTB Forums verdict

The E-Troy Lite is Devinci's lightweight take on its Troy trail platform, built around the compact Bosch Performance Line SX motor (55 Nm, 600 W peak) and a 400 Wh CompactTube battery. It pairs 160 mm of fork travel with 150 mm out back via the Split Pivot suspension, runs a mixed-wheel setup as standard and is welded from 6061-T6 aluminium in Devinci's own Canadian factory. The geometry is firmly modern-trail: a 63.6 degree head angle across every size, steep effective seat angles around 77.5 to 77.9 degrees, a consistent 438 mm chainstay and a 461 mm reach on the medium.

Three builds make up the 2025 range, all sharing the same frame, motor and battery. The GX 12S (6,399 USD) is the value entry, with a Fox 36 fork, Fox Float X Performance Elite shock, SRAM Code Bronze brakes and a mechanical SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain. The S1000 AXS 12S (6,599 USD) swaps to RockShox Lyrik Select+ and Super Deluxe Ultimate suspension and adds wireless SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS T-Type shifting for only a small premium, which makes it the standout on paper. The GX AXS 12S (7,399 USD) tops the range with a Lyrik Ultimate fork, four-piston Magura MT5 HCW brakes on 203 mm rotors, RaceFace ARC30 wheels and SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type, and is also the lightest at a claimed 19.5 kg.

The small SX motor and 400 Wh pack mean this is a light-assist bike rather than a full-power eMTB, so range is modest at a claimed 40 km average, though the optional Bosch PowerMore 250 range extender adds 250 Wh for longer days. Buyers chasing maximum torque or all-day battery will look elsewhere, but for riders who want a Canadian-made alloy trail bike that handles close to its non-assisted sibling, the E-Troy Lite covers the brief.

“I bought my E-Troy Lite about a month ago and already have over 200 km on it. I got the GX transmission build, and my first upgrade before trying the Magura was to swap them out with Hayes dominion A4, because I did not trust the stock…”
