The Torque:ON is Canyon's full-power gravity e-MTB: a Category 5 rated carbon frame running 180 mm up front and 175 mm at the rear on a mullet (29in front, 27.5in rear) wheel set. The geometry is unashamedly downhill-leaning, with a 63.5 degree head angle, 445 mm chainstays and a long 1,306 mm wheelbase in size L, paired with a steep 77.5 degree seat angle to keep climbing manageable. Reach runs 450 to 525 mm across the S to XL sizes.
All three builds share the same frame, geometry and removable 800 Wh battery, so the choice comes down to motor and kit. The CF 9 at £4,179 is the pick if you want the stronger Shimano EP801 motor, a wireless SRAM Eagle AXS Transmission drivetrain, Fox 38 and Float X2 suspension and powerful SRAM Maven Silver brakes. The CF 8 (£3,819) and CF 7 (£3,279) both drop to the Shimano EP600 motor and a wired Shimano Deore 12-speed drivetrain.
Between the two cheaper builds, the CF 8 runs a RockShox Vivid air shock with Shimano Deore four-piston brakes, while the CF 7 swaps to a RockShox Super Deluxe coil shock and SRAM Code R brakes. Claimed weights are close across the range at 25.12 to 25.8 kg. The CF 9 carries the headline tech, but the CF 8 looks the value sweet spot for riders happy with the mid-tier motor.
