Bulls Vuca EVO FSX 1 2024
EMTB Forums verdict

The Bulls Vuca EVO FSX 1 is a full-suspension eSUV rather than a conventional trail eMTB. It pairs 120 mm of travel front and rear on 29in wheels with a comprehensive touring kit: full mudguards, integrated FUXON lighting, a MonkeyLoad rear rack mount, kickstand and ABUS frame lock. The headline feature is the FIT Pinion MGU E1.12 gearbox motor, an 85 Nm unit that combines a mid-drive with a 12-speed internal gearbox and a maintenance-light Gates CDX belt instead of a chain and derailleur.

The build is sold as a single FSX 1 specification with a choice of Diamant (classic top tube) or Wave (step-through) frame and either a 720 Wh or 960 Wh FIT UltraCore battery. Notable parts include a BULLS Lytro 36 Supreme SL 1.8in oversteerer fork, an SR Suntour Edge rear shock, Shimano four-piston BR-M6120 brakes with a 203 mm front rotor, a LIMOTEC dropper post and puncture-protected Supero All Ground tyres. Claimed weight is around 29.9 kg, reflecting the heavy-duty touring fit-out and the gearbox drivetrain.

Geometry is touring-oriented rather than aggressive: a relaxed 67.5 degree head angle, a 75 degree seat angle and reach figures from 449 mm in S to 490 mm in XL, with a tall stack for an upright position. Chainstays stay long at 480 mm across all sizes for stable, planted handling.

This 2024 model is discontinued. Bulls carried the Vuca EVO FSX 1 forward into 2025 with the same frame and geometry, so a near-identical successor exists in later catalogues.
