EMTB Forums verdict

The Bulls Vuca EVO AM 2026 is a fully revamped all-mountain eMTB built around the Pinion MGU E1.12, a single unit that packs an 85 Nm mid-motor and a sealed 12-speed gearbox and drives a low-maintenance Gates CDX belt rather than a chain and derailleur. The frame pairs a monocoque carbon front triangle with an aluminium 4-link swingarm on a braced single-pivot layout, giving 160 mm of fork travel (150 mm on the entry build) and 150 mm at the rear on 29in wheels. Power comes from a removable 800 Wh FIT battery, and the 2026 redesign drops the previous two-battery option in favour of a single pack.

Three builds are offered. The AM 1 (6,999 euro) runs a RockShox Lyrik Select RC fork and Deluxe Select+ shock with RUMBLE own-brand wheels and a conventional dropper. The AM 2 (8,499 euro) steps up to a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate 160 mm fork, Super Deluxe Ultimate shock, DT Swiss H-1900 wheels and an integrated 8Pins dropper. The AM 3 (9,999 euro) tops the range with a Fox Podium Factory fork, Fox Float X Factory shock, DT Swiss HX-1501 wheels and Galfer Shark rotors, with a quoted 26.4 kg in size L. All three share Shimano four-piston brakes, Schwalbe Magic Mary tyres and Pinion TE1 controls, so the difference is chassis kit rather than drivetrain.

Geometry is roomy up front and consistent across the range: reach grows from 445 mm (S) to 500 mm (XL), the head angle sits at 63.5 degrees on the smallest frame and 64.5 degrees on the rest, the effective seat angle is a steep 77 degrees, and the chainstay is a uniform 450 mm at every size. Everyday touches set it apart from pure trail rivals, with a top-tube colour display, an integrated cornering headlight and twin rear lights in the dropouts.

Note on pricing: Bulls quotes this bike as a euro RRP (6,999 / 8,499 / 9,999 euro) and no genuine UK sterling RRP was published at the time of writing, so the pound figures shown by some aggregators are currency conversions rather than an official price.

What the numbers mean on the trail

Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.

Size
Descending
76

Slack 64.5° head angle, 150mm travel and a long 1274mm wheelbase — composed in the chunk, confident when it gets steep, and stable through fast corners.

Playfulness
51

A fair bit of pop, but happiest on flowing trail rather than trials moves.

Size balance
88

Balanced front-to-rear in L (FC:RC 1.83) — weight sits evenly between the wheels.

Technical climbing
71

Climbs well — a 77° seat keeps the front planted. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.

Best suited toFast, steep, rough tracks — and riders who want maximum composure.

Rewards commitment; it should feel calmer as the speed rises.

Watch out forNo major red flags in the L geometry.

The numbers are well balanced for its category.
