A solid all-round descender (66° head angle, 150mm) — capable in the rough and steep without being an all-out bruiser.
Copperhead EVO AM 2023
How current the bike is — newer chassis, motor and battery score higher. 10 = brand-new, 0 = legacy.

The Bulls Copperhead EVO AM is a discontinued 2023 all-mountain e-MTB and, despite carrying the Copperhead name that Bulls otherwise uses for its hardtails, it is genuinely full suspension. A four-bar rear linkage with an SR Suntour shock gives 140 mm of travel front and rear on the AM 1 and AM 2, rising to 150 mm on the AM 3, all driven by Bosch's Smart System Performance Line CX motor (85 Nm) and a removable Bosch PowerTube battery, 500 Wh on the base AM 1 and 750 Wh on the '750' versions.
The trim ladder is value engineering on a shared alloy chassis. The AM 1 runs a 10-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, Tektro brakes, an SR Suntour Unair fork and a rigid post; the AM 2 750 steps up to 11-speed Deore, Shimano brakes, a Limotec dropper and Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres; and the flagship AM 3 750 gets a 12-speed Deore XT mech, a 150 mm Bulls Lytro 35 Supreme fork, an SR Suntour Edge shock and aggressive Schwalbe Magic Mary / Hans Dampf Super Gravity tyres. Geometry is moderately slack for its era at a 66 degree head angle, with reach running from 419 mm on the smallest 41 cm frame to 484 mm on the 54 cm, and 445 mm chainstays throughout.
Bulls discontinued the Copperhead EVO AM after 2023; within the current Bulls line-up the closest equivalent is the all-mountain Vuca EVO AM range.
What the numbers mean on the trail
Computed from this bike's geometry, spec and build kit — reach, wheelbase, chainstay, head and seat angles, travel, motor, weight and the fork/tyre/brake spec — and worked out per size, because a fixed chainstay can make an S and an XL feel very different.
More planted than poppy — better on steep terrain than tight, fiddly singletrack.
Rear-long with a planted front in L (FC:RC 1.75) — easy to weight the front and quick to turn, though it can feel light at the back at real speed.
Climbs well — a 74° seat keeps the front planted. 600W of peak power and 85Nm of torque — a strong full-power motor.
No single standout trait — a balanced, versatile bike.
Brilliant on fast, rough, steep terrain; less fun on tight, mellow trails.
