Ready for Control

The BH iLynx+ DL 2026 is the Spanish brand's most ambitious enduro yet, a Ballistic Carbon Layup chassis built around DJI's flagship Avinox M2S motor with 150 Nm of peak torque, 1500 W claimed peak power and a 22.4 kg claimed weight. With 170 mm of travel at both ends, a 63.5 degree head angle and an integrated 800 Wh FP800 battery, this is BH planting a flag in the super-enduro segment. At £4,616 for the Enduro 9.0 base trim, the community sees it as one of the most aggressively priced M2S-powered carbon enduros on sale.
Drive system and range. The Avinox M2S is the same motor unit Amflow have just brought to market, and it represents a meaningful step up from the M1 found on most first-wave DJI builds. 150 Nm of torque is best-in-class and the 1500 W peak figure (the gold-authoritative number BH supplies) competes with anything from Bosch CX or Specialized's 3.1. Sustained output drops to a still-huge 130 Nm with Boost mode unlocking the full 150 Nm in bursts. The 800 Wh battery is integrated and not removable, so home charging is on-bike only. There is no first-hand range data from forum owners yet, but the wider Avinox M2S community is reporting comparable or better efficiency than M1 builds despite the extra grunt, which translates to genuinely big-day capability.
Geometry and handling. The 63.5 degree head angle puts this firmly in modern long-travel enduro territory, not as extreme as DH-leaning builds but slacker than mainstream all-rounders. Reach progresses cleanly across four sizes: 445 mm (S), 472 mm (M), 495 mm (L) and 515 mm (XL). The 450 mm chainstay is held constant across the range, which keeps the rear feel consistent but means XL riders will not get the proportional rear-centre stretch some rivals (Trek, Specialized Levo Gen 4) now offer. The Split Pivot suspension is BH's signature layout: an oversized sealed-bearing main pivot and a concentric axle pivot designed to isolate braking from suspension behaviour. Four sizes is one of the better size spreads in the category.
Build and value. Only one trim is officially listed at the gold-fact level — the Enduro 9.0 at £4,616 with 22.4 kg claimed weight. That price for an Avinox M2S carbon enduro is genuinely competitive and undercuts every comparable Specialized, Trek or Pivot M2S build on the market. BH offers a wider trim ladder in some markets including alloy-frame options starting lower, but the carbon 9.0 is the spec to anchor a buying decision around. The dual wireless bar remotes and 2-inch top-tube OLED touchscreen are inherited from the broader Avinox ecosystem and are among the slicker dashboards in the segment.
Caveats and known gripes. First-hand forum experience with the iLynx+ DL specifically is thin — this is a brand-new platform and most community Avinox discussion centres on Amflow, Apache and Steppenwolf builds. The integrated 800 Wh battery cannot be swapped, ruling out spare-battery hot-swaps. UK dealer presence for BH is limited compared with the volume German and US brands, so warranty turnaround and spares could be a consideration. @Fangs2k captured a recurring forum theme that applies here: the Avinox headline numbers are seductive, but trail riders should weigh them against the proven warranty networks of Bosch and Shimano. @oettam20 notes the DJI motors lead on paper specs but real-world reliability records are still being written.
Verdict. The BH iLynx+ DL is one of the most interesting carbon enduros of 2026 on paper: 170/170 travel, 63.5 degree head angle, 150 Nm of Avinox M2S torque, 800 Wh battery, 22.4 kg weight and a £4,616 starting price that few rivals can match for the same drive system. It will suit aggressive enduro riders who want the headline Avinox performance and a cleanly integrated cockpit and are comfortable buying from a brand with modest UK retail reach. Riders who prioritise a removable battery, a long-established motor warranty network, or first-hand owner data from forums should wait for community feedback to accumulate or look at proven Bosch CX or Shimano EP801 alternatives. Production status: current.
