The iLynx Race Carbon is BH's full-carbon XC and down-country eMTB, built on a 120mm travel HCIM carbon frame rolling on 29in wheels. It runs BH's own BHZ motor (developed with SEG Automotive) rated at 65 Nm and up to 500 W, fed by a 630Wh in-frame battery that extends to 810Wh with the optional XPro range extender. A claimed 17.4kg for the 7.8 keeps it firmly in the lightweight, pedal-friendly camp rather than the full-power trail bracket.Two carbon builds are offered. The 7.8 is the headline spec with a FOX 34 FLOAT Factory SC fork, Shimano XT four-piston brakes, an XT shifter, a Bike Yoke Divine SL dropper and a faster-rolling Maxxis Rekon front tyre. The 7.7 saves money by stepping down to a FOX 34 Performance fork, SRAM DB8 brakes, a Deore shifter, Race Face Arc wheels and a Race Face dropper, while keeping the same Shimano XT 12-speed mech and FSA crank.
