I like to do my own lower leg service(s) on my Zeb equipped Whyte e160 but cannot find the crush washers anywhere online unless I buy a huge quantity ( 20-50) of each size or a full kit with foam rings, seals etc
This seems strange considering that the ONLY items that must be changed at 50 hrs are the oil + two crush washers - everything else can be reused if not worn.
I have been reusing the old ones so far but one day that won't work any more so I want to have new ones ready.

Is there anyone out there that sells just the two black crush washers for a few pounds?

Just use some PTFE plumbers tape around the washers. The oil isn't under any pressure in the fork legs

Total bleed show two of the same part but they are different - Airside is thin and fits in groove in the screw. Damper side looks like a normal rubber washer.

This has come up before & I agree, it is a swizz that they can't be bought separately. Some ideas above, another is dowty washers. I've used them for a few years & so far so good. Pennies to buy.

That's been my M.O. for decades. Sometimes I'm a cheapskate and reuse the washers. Every time I tell myself that next time I get washers, I'll measure them so I can buy a whole box--and I never do. The bummer is when there are TWO sizes and you'd have to buy TWO boxes of washers.

Years ago, I needed o-rings for my Avid brakes. EVERYONE needed these o-rings. I bought a box full, and then offered them up for something like two bucks for five, mailed in an envelope. I made no money on the project, but we all got o-rings and we all lived happily ever after. Mabye a similar project can be done with Rockshox crush washers.

If you think about what the bottom bolts are doing you'll understand you dont need them and why many zebs dont even have them. Several reports out there from users noting their rockshox forks never had them.

8mm spring-side crush washers are available on ebay for a few quid, and from suspension service centres like Sprung and TF Tuned, and are in the 200h service kits that everyone sells. Sprung told me that you don't need to replace the flanged one on the damper side, at least not at a 50h service. I've reused mine on both sides without issue.
