Anyone upgrade the front fork on a Genius eride? I have the 2019 910 and I’m considering upgrading to a 160mm travel fork and using the 150mm fork on my 2017 Trek fuel ex-8.
Any advise is appreciated.

Thanks,

George

If you have Fox, search Fox Tune ID. Go to the site and put your fork tune id and you get your model and part list.
You just need a new air shaft and same goes with Rockshox.

Go with 160mm fork on your eGenius without any issues at all. This bike has quite large BB offset and rather conservative dimensions, which means that you can easly install bigger fork without worrying about geometry too much. +10mm is barely noticeable. More than +20mm is not recommended and pay attention to axle-to-crown dimensions. Modern forks (38 or ZEB) add +5mm with the same travel... This is how my eGenius looks like after installing the ZEB 170mm. So, the front of the bike is lifted up by 15mm, geo is slacker by almost 1 degree, BB sits 10mm higher. So far the biggest difference is the stiffness of the fork (when compared to stock FOX36).
