I'm trying to make my mind up which bike to buy. Torn between the Levo or mibbe the YT decoy. If I decide on the Spesh I have a couple of wee questions. I demoed a 2019 levo comp (500w/h battery and Revelation forks) and loved it. I did however use all the battery on a ride with 1250 metres of climbing and 30km in length. Mostly in eco mode with some in Turbo on fire roads (mibbe 10% of the ride). Too be honest most of my rides will be around 1200 metres of climbing as I tend to do mostly enduro trails which consist of a big fore road climb then bombing down a steep enduro trail. The 2020 has the 700w/h battery so would mean I could get more runs only thing is its £1000 dearer! Just wondering if any 2020 owners are pleased with extra range and if they reckon it was worth the extra cash. Finally the fork on the comp I had was a Rockshox Revelation set at 150mm and I know the Lyrik comes on the 2020, better fork??

The 2020 is a better overall buy imo
Yeah too be honest thats my thinking too, better battery (which cost £1000 aftermarket) and a better more tuneable fork. If I dropped the 160mm air shaft into the fork and stuck a CC DB coil IL on it I'd be more than happy ( £40 for the air shaft and around £400 for the shock and spring) This ebike game is getting expensive :)

I have both the 500 and 700 battery. I alternate between the two.
have never run out of battery with the 500, but te 2 batteries for me were so can travel

I don't think the Lyrik is that much better. Yes it a slightly stiffer chassis (both 35mm) but the damper is identical in being the charger rc in both, and the 2020 forks have the same debonair air shaft.
FWIW I have the 19 comp and I thought the stock revelation was pretty good (much better than the Revelation RC with motion control damper on my hardtail) although as I had a 170mm Yari on another bike I couldn't help getting the charger 2.1 rct3 upgrade and swapping them over.

Yeah the Revelation actually felt good on the demo I had, had to wind a bit of compression on to keep it up in its travel but yeah it felt ok. The Lyrik though opens up more options, if I want I can run a 170mm air shaft in it, the max for the Revelation is 160mm. Anyway I would have been happy with either its mainly the bigger battery thats the draw of the 2020 over the 2019. I've actually just ordered a 2020 Comp in all black so no going back now :)
