I have powerfly 9.7 and I am finding it almost impossible to remove the tire from the rim, the tubeless “hooking” is locked in so tight.

Any others have this issue, solution?

I worry about the scenario where putting in a tube on the trail is my only option say with a cut tire etc.

Ensure the tyre is deflated. (Yes, I know!)
Remove the wheel and place it horizontally where the rim is supported. Get your mini-pump and press the base of the handle onto the tyre as close to the rim as you can at right angle to the wheel. Then lean on it. :)
(If you are in the garage, hammer shafts work better).

If you are in a rocky area, then put your glove in between the rim and the nearest suitable rock.

Place the wheel flat with the rim supported, place heel of your hand on the sidewall close to the bead and push firmly down.
Switch this, I suggest, to General thread, more people are likely to look at it.
