I'm sure this may have been covered elsewhere but I can't find the answer.
I have a Rail 5 Gen 2, I'd like to fit the Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate Thru-Shaft from a Rail 9 Gen 2, the problem I have, is on the Trek website on two different documents they list two different part numbers for this pivot bolt: W583804 and W547868
I have spoken to Trek and they can't give an answer other that they are both M10 bolts, one is 2mm longer than the other?
Has anyone else done this conversion and can point me in the right direction?
Cheers

hi Darren i did the same conversion as you on my 2021 Rail 7. It’s also an aluminum frame.
i used the W583804 bolts as shown on the attached diagram.
cheers
p.s. You will love that shock

Thanks for the reply, Trek did come back to me and confirmed the bolt to use is W547868!
It seems both part numbers can be used, depends which copy of the diagram you have?

I found the diagram that shows that number. Funny because they reference the same bike for the same years. On both the spacers and bearings are the same, just the bolt is different, they could be the same bolts with a different number or as you mentioned one is 2 mm longer, meaning it goes inside the shock 2 mm deeper. Obviously not an issue.
