This is for other peoples information.

I purchased a Rail 5 2020 with these components.

Shifter SRAM SX Eagle single-click, 12-speed
Rear derailleur SRAM SX Eagle
Crank SRAM X1 1000, 34T, 165 mm length
Cassette SRAM PG-1210 Eagle, 11-50, 12-speed
Chain SRAM SX Eagle, 12-speed

First change: Swapped the rear derailleur for a Shimano SLX M7100 rear derailleur.

Worked without problems. Glad to have changed out the plastic SX derailleur.

Second change: Swapped the shifter for a Shimano XT M78100 shifter.

Worked without problems. Found the shifts faster and more precise.

I've got an NX 12 speed cassette on my mullet wheel. Everything else is Shimano and it works fine.
