Hey, if I put more air in my shock and forks......will my bike be lighter ?

If a balloon has no air , it just stays on the floor/surface.
If you fill it with air , it floats ??‍♂️

No it doesn't, you need to fill it with a gas that's lighter than air for it float, like the aforementioned Helium.
 
If you put enough Hydrogen in it will eventually weigh more than if you had left the air in at the lower pressure.

If you put any Helium in at anything above atmospheric pressure it will leak out. Helium is a very small molecule and will leak past the seals. This is why even with balloons made from aluminised plastic film, they still go down after a few days.
 
Nitrogen is probably your best bet. It's slightly lighter than air, is less likely to migrate through the rubber and is doesn't change pressure much with temperature changes.
