Is this still under embargo or has it been officially announced? If so, which Country's website? Thanks!

The 2023 Stance E+2 is listed in NZ at NZ$6999, it comes with the 625Wh battery and comes with a pretty cheap and nasty SR Suntour Raidon R shock, previously this was the lower end but quality RockShox Monarch R. The front fork remains the same from previous years models with a SR Suntour XCR 34 LO-R 140mm which is also pretty low spec'ed. To put this in perspective I paid NZ$5799 in 2021 for my Stance E+2 with a 500Wh battery and the 2022 model with very similar specs to the 2021 is selling on runout at the moment here for NZ$5599 (was retailing before runout for NZ$6399).

Other than the RideControl Dash, full colour lcd screen I don't see any other improvements other than a slightly larger battery (500Wh to 625Wh) for the additional $1200. It remains a 10 speed but the rear cassette changes from an 11-46T to 11-43T which I feel is a retrograde step, the crankset looks pretty similar with a 36T chainring . There is also a change to the motor, now listed as a SyncDrive Sport 2 75Nm, previously was a SyncDrive Sport at 70Nm.

Motor is probably based on the newer PWX3 so smaller and lighter, the other big difference is new more modern geometry. I don't see the 2023 Stance or Embolden on the Giant NZ site?

I believe it is based on the new PWseries S2 (PW-S2) drive unit with a maximum torque of 75Nm that Yamaha say is 7% higher than the PWseries ST (PW-ST) used in the Stance 2021 & 2022. It weights 2.85kg against the 3.4kg of the PW-ST. As my 2 year warranty comes to an end mid-year I was considering rolling over my Stance but I'm not sure I can justify the additional $1200 for some geometry changes, a new controller, a poorer shock and a less appealing cassette. Hopefully I'd be able to take my front & rear Fox suspension setup over but I can't see the rear shock size anywhere. I already own an 800Wh battery so there's no improvement there...

Evo Cycles & Cycle Science and Pushbikes are all showing the 2023 Stance in stock so I'd assume Giant in Wellington will be able to source as well.

I understand, $1,200 is a lot...
