I think 2020 Giant bikes have issues with these chips. I tried a speedbox 2 on my giant explore E+2 and it did not work so they are sending me a Volspeed for Giant and tell me it will 100% work..
I should be hopefully receiving this tomorrow so will update

I would check your software version on the bike as I have tried both speedbox 2 and Volspeed 2.
Both did not work. Pic of my version.
