Solar generators are the size of toasters now, and you can charge half an eMTB battery with a £299 one

So this is using a BLUETTI EB3A which is their cheapest, smallest one. Together with a solar panel with quite good sunshine, (you can use any panel with compatible specs, it doesn't have to be their brand), it can charge my Giant Trance from 26% to 81% as fast as if it was plugged into the mains.

A bigger unit does a full charge even without a solar panel, which I also have, but the size of these things is now tiny. They have a solar controller, DC and AC inverter, and a premium LiFePO4 Battery inside; they are not 'just a battery'.

This really saves me from having to find a power point if camping or at a bike park and need a recharge for the afternoon session. I made a video about it at on YouTube if anyone is interested.

I don't get any commission out of this by the way; it just has revolutionized my eMTB experience.
