Shimano to sram groupset…….

Anyone help me with this…… I’m thinking of swapping my XT groupset (decoy pro race) out and getting SRAM XO1 AXS, its very confusing though. I’m guessing it would mean i need the sram XO1 upgrade kit, new cassette, new chainring??? and new chain?

Does anyone know if this is right?

Also would the SRAM GX cassette fit onto my e13 hub?

Its looking like an expensive job but i dont mind as the kit that came on the bike I haven’t spent a penny in the couple of years i owned it!!

So long as current setup is 12 speed you can run the AXS derailleur & shifter with existing Shimano chain & cassette

Really? I thought i would need to replace the lot, that’s knocked a few hundred quid off then!

Yes it’s been done loads. Some say best setup XTR chain & cassette with XX1 AXS shifter & derailleur
