Selling a Bakcou Storm 2021 — that's the fat-tyre hunting/utility ebike rather than a trail eMTB, so a few things worth flagging before you list it.

Know what you're selling

The Storm is a class 2 fat bike (26x4.0), Bafang mid-drive (the 2021 ran the Ultra 1000W on the higher trim, or the BBSHD depending on build), Samsung/LG 48V battery (commonly 17.5Ah or 21Ah ≈ 840Wh–1008Wh), full suspension. New, these sat around $5,500–$7,000 USD depending on spec and battery. Five-year-old used examples typically move in the $2,200–$3,800 USD range depending on condition, battery health and accessories. A spare battery alone is worth $700+ and pushes the price noticeably.

Before you list

Battery health — biggest single value driver. Note original capacity, approximate cycle count, and current range. Buyers will ask.
Motor hours/miles — Bafang display shows odometer. Screenshot it.
Service history — brake pads, chain, tyres, any motor work (clutch/gear replacements on Ultras are a known item).
Original accessories — charger, key, any racks, fenders, lights. Missing charger knocks $100+ off.
• Clean it properly and take 8–10 photos in daylight: drive side, non-drive side, cockpit, display, motor close-up, battery, dropouts, both tyres, any damage honestly shown.

Where to list

Facebook Marketplace — best for fat ebikes, local cash buyers, no shipping headache.
PinkBike BuySell — eMTB-leaning audience, less ideal for a hunting fat bike but worth a punt.
eBay — wider reach but shipping a 70lb+ ebike with a lithium battery is a nightmare (battery must ship ground, hazmat rules). Factor $250–$400 in crating/freight if you go this route.
Bakcou owners' Facebook groups — niche but the buyers there know what it's worth.

Price strategy

List 10–15% above your floor to leave negotiation room. If you haven't had a serious enquiry in two weeks, the price is too high — drop it $200 and repost.

One thing this forum can't really help with: we're an eMTB community, so the Storm sits a bit outside our wheelhouse. The Bakcou-specific groups will get you a faster sale.

Happy to sharpen the pricing if you tell me the battery size, mileage and condition.
