Slightly lighter than the TQ and almost as much torque. It looks more customizable to what the bike manufacturer might want too.

48v is a big step forward for an EU spec bike. Lot's of bikes here in the states are 48v, with a smattering of 52v my personal v of choice, due to our 750w reg. The Rocky Mtn. bikes are also 48v with their in-house designed system.

As long as any bike is restricted to 25.5kmh/20mph due to the laws in place who cares how much power it has to get there? Mostly for mtb use we are looking for stump pulling power at low speeds and low cadences anyway. Ability to pedal without drag at the higher cadences necessary to compensate for the extra weight of the e system after that fact however is a big consideration and it seems like the Sachs is close but not quite there.

BMZ is about the best battery partner they could have and wouldn't be surprised if those are 2170 cells as they license them from LG that has 5.0A ones and that is why the high A rating overall.
