I'm looking at putting a 210x55 shock on mu levo but I'm trying to get my head around the different tunes as I'm a heavy rider at 110kg I'm assuming that I would need the high tune. has anyone got any input or experience with shock tunes

Probably best to ask someone like TF tuned for advice. In general ( although I am lighter than you) I found that if you buy a shock that has both HSC and LSC ( and HSR and LSR) a medium shock tune gives most scope for you to dial in your own requirements whereas ( in my experience) a firm/hard shock tune invariably means the compressions settings get left wide open!! A lot does also depend on the kinematic design of the rear triangle on your bike since that design and the shock tune work hand in hand. Another factor is the kind of riding you do.....e.g general trail riding v bike park jump lines, and whether you prefer a more compliant ride or something a bit more lively.

TF may suggest a different shock for you for that reason.
