Product name: ROCKBROS Flatpedals Nylon 9/16’’
Price paid: 22€
Score (out of 10): 9
Review: I bought the first pair about 2 years back,
did 6000km+ on them and now one of the bearings got little wonky.
First i tryed to fix it but it did the Opposite (still rideable but have quite some play)
For me it was clear to buy the same Pedals again.
Price wise the did go up a little but the first time i purchased on Aliexpress (for€22)
and this time on Amazon for € 30.
They are made of Nylon and you can get a couple of colours.
The Platform itself measures about 11x12 cm.
Height is 2cm at the axis, 1,5mm on the outside.
Pins stick out 0,4mm
Weight per pair is about 380g.
Conclusion
I personally prefer Plastic pedals over the Alloy ones because the alloys tend to twist and bend (especially the cheaper ones) while the Nylod pedals don't do this at all. I had some other Nylon ones before who hat other Problems (bad bearings no grip etc) but this ones are just great for me.
Cheap good grip and an excellent lifetime.
I would absolutely recommend them as long as you don't go for super light builds.
