Hey guys - I was just wondering if anybody else in QLD is taking their eMTB to the Robbie McEwan Grande MTB event on Oct 10th?

I've participated in a lot of Grand Fondo road cycling events, but this will be my first MTB and in particular eMTB event.

Nerang NP is a great spot for e-mtb’s but I can’t see any mention of e, electro, electric anything. Nothing about e-mtb events that I can see.

Are you sure you want to be heckled by Robbie riding alongside you the whole way with his very very loud megaphone lol?
I would definitely like to see the resulting viral video. That would likely happen even if there is an actual e-mtb event

You might be the *only guy* haha. Actually I'm sure you won't be since it's Nerang - Specialized central - with my favourite big Spesh shop Just Ride Nerang across the road. Don't think I can make it. If not, I can't wait for details, pics, video & whatever else!

That was an awesome event. I'm so glad I did it. That was hard work, even on the Turbo Levo - so massive respect to everyone who completed it on analogue bikes. I mean there were some hardcore people out there - like the kind you see in those Redbull /GoPro videos on youtube. And here's just me out for a Saturday ride on my ebike. LOL. I stayed at the back of the pack (out of everyone's way), and just enjoyed myself. I'm still new to mountain biking and the last thing I want to do put my brand new Turbo Levo into the rocks.
