Anyone tried installing a Line Speed motor in a Rail frame? I have an extra Rail frame, an Allant 8+S, and kiox computer that I would like to combine. Just wanted to know if it works well if someone has tried it.

I don't think there is any difference in the motor except software?
Better off to get a performance line CX and derestrict it.
My non smart gen 4 has been derestrict without a limit for many a fast mile.

The internals for the Line Speed and Line CX are the same except for the PCB and that limits what container files can be downloaded. Container files are a bit limited for the Line Speed so I was hoping for feedback on chainring size selection.

My Rail 7 and 9.8 are both still under warranty, so I am not ready to deregulate them yet. My local trails are pretty tight so 20mph limit is usually not a problem, but 25-30mph would be better for jump lines and riding in the mountains.
