Upgraded my SLX brakes to the Magura MT7's in raceline yellow. I have wanted a set of Magura raceline yellow brakes since they first released their hydraulic rim brakes back in the day. I thought they would be too much for the purple phase but I didn't care. I just had to have a set. It actually turned out better than I thought it would. The SLX's went on my 9 year old son's Rocky Mountain Reaper so he got a great upgrade as well out of this.

How is the install with the Maguras? I have set arriving this week. How tough was it running cables?

It’s pretty straight forward. I did drop the motor a little bit and held it up zip tied to the frame for that part of the routing. Other than that...no different than any other internally routed frame.

Do your MDR-P Rotors have any play in them....mine seem to have a bit of play back and forth at the rivets, and even knock a bit under braking
