Rail (625Wh) Rail 7 Gen 2, 625 WH battery questions...

Last week I was all set to order a Rail 7 Gen 2 (2022 I think) (M) from my LBS (Trek Store) come Monday. However over the weekend I read a few reviews, and also found this forum (THANK GOSH, y'all are truly Subject Matter Experts, willing to share your knowledge).

Questions... What are the odds that this bike will already have the RIB Battery Alignment System installed? If it does not, will they sell it to me?

And, in your opinion, should this system, properly installed, pretty much eliminate the battery related issues?

Should already have the plate installed. Was already installed in my 2022 Rail 5 (500Wh battery) purchased in January 2022, never had any issues

Any 2022 model or later will have the plate installed.

I have a 2022 Trek Rail 9.8 and haven't had a battery issue ever. You'll be fine

I test rode the bike yesterday and they were happy to remove the battery and show me the plate.
