Allready seen a class at some enduros and the ebike specific section was an uphill swisty climb . There was the obvious skill of the tight corners but it seemed silly to me in some ways as the fastest bike was clearly the biggest advantage , scrutineering of a standard power would be difficult to enforce .

So i sort of have a bit of a problem with this, these promotors are dirtbike specialists aparently aligning ebikes into their dirtbike world which is exactly where they shouldnt be.
Now i have probably got hold of the wrong end of the stick as i have only read the link above but where i would like to see ebike stages is in enduros like the ardrock which actually does have an ebike category this year

That’s good of them.
Adrenalin ATV seem really keen to support eEnduro, they had a team of three or four riders in the one I did last year and whenever I have noticed an e class in a race they seem to have entered guys.

I understand your feelings there
I go to a lot of the enduros , the scene does cross over a great deal , lots of the riders ride motorcycle enduro , or are ex motorcycle enduro or trials riders . It’s where a lot of them have honed the skills , I would say most keen motorcycle racers ride mtb to keep fit and hone skills .
There is an ebike class in most enduros .
The ardrock was a great event last year , however it’s also a music festival , this year the entry sold out so fast that many of the keen riders who had a chance of podiums didn’t get an entry, so I see that event becoming like the surf events have in Cornwall .
There a lot wrong with the organising of all these 2 wheel events mainly I feel because they are run as money making events by companies who do it for a living. Sadly the old days of club events seems to be dying out , those are always the best events for me .

With manufacturers like KTM, Husqvarna & Fantic establishing a position as eMTB manufacturers and the ever onward march to e trials & eMX crossover with motorcycle outlets is inevitable to me.
There is already a dealer network out there and they are more than competent to work on ebikes.
