Is the TTX22M.2 more trail focused or just a slightly revised version of the 22M? The product description makes it sound as though it is.

wondering which to get?

from what I’ve seen so far, most are running with Fox DHX2 or the TTX22M

I think it’s just a revised shock same with revised M2 forks, I have the older version on my Rise awesome shock would always take Ohlins over Fox

Reasons for Ohlins over Fox?

Not a fox fan over last 10+ years Fox every year say best fork/shock ever. Everyone believes hype fits to bike 6months later moan they are harsh etc same with shitmano brakes 😂
Ohlins expensive but can be tuned to you & your bike & riding style, for forks I like Ohlins & have owned but for me I can FULLY service my Manitou Mezzer fork completely but Ohlins requires specialist tools etc so need a service centre but the Ohlins forks are very good

The best thing about the Ohlins is that even though there are fewer adjustments compared to some oher shocks, they all work.
Seems almost impossible to set it up badly.

Ohlins spring calculator is 570lbs for my 90kg weight. That’s 70lbs over the tftuned spring calculator.

I’m about 90kg and run the 548 spring which is perfect. Bought the shock and spring from tftuned and their recommendation was the 548.

Ohlins must be stronger than some other shocks too, I remember when I had a 2020 Levo, they snapped the shafts in some shocks, Fox actually said not use their coil in the Levo. The Ohlins were fine.
What size shock is on the 750 Rail?

230x57.5 but I think some are using 230x60

When using TF tuned calculator add weight of motor & battery onto your weight for spring choice that’s what I did for my Rise & spring is good choice by their calculator

Yeah that makes sense with my 548 spring, me at 90kgish plus gear.
I just rang them and let them choose the spring, they are always super helpful.

PM me how much you want for it. I’m riding some trails I know really well next weekend and want to fit one before then.

the 22M.2 is my current choice because of its easy stroke adjustment.

I wouldn’t be able to sort it before next weekend I’m afraid.
I’d be tempted to buy the 22m.2 anyway if I was you, would be nice to easily experiment with the different stroke lengths.

Can I use my existing shock bolts or will I need new ones?

Not sure what the 750 Rail is like but mine was a trunnion and i needed a fitting kit.

Yeah, 750w is still trunnion.
What bolt sizes are needed? I’ll be ordering the shock and mounting kit from tftuned, not sure if they also provide the bolts?

Tftuned provided all mine. Just ring them and they will sort you out.

I’ve took it off the bike but I’m pretty sure mine was the same.
