Norco Range VLT Internal Cabling

So after having owned my Range VLT A1 for just over a year now, I've noticed that the holes for the internal cable routing is causing abrasion on the cable hoses, particularly on my shifter cable (I'm Australian and so only the shifter and Di2 cable routes through the left-hand hole), and it's also got some light chipping of the paint around said hole, I assume again from the constant rubbing

I'm wondering if I'm missing something, is there supposed to be some kind of rubber or plastic grommet that fits in the hole that just never got installed by the manufacturer?
