Hi All, new member here, but not new MTBer or eMTBer…
I currently have a 2020 Turbo Levo HT and I love it, I’ve upgraded most parts! Anyway, I’m now looking for a full bouncer and specifically the 2021
22 model SL or SL Comp…but I’m confused by the sizing.
My Hardtail is a Large and seems good for me (No neck/back pain etc) but checking the Spesh website for sizing though, it says I could also go for an XL.
Im 5’11 (or 180cm) with a 32” inseam.
Anyone out there same height as me got experience of the two?

You would be at the very lowest end of an XL
5"10 - 6"4
It will probably seem big to you.
where as for L (s4) your bang in the middle
L is 5"8-6"2 and probably going to feel right

I'm 6"2 with a 35.5 inside leg measured without shoes and I would get the XL for me.

on an XL I'd imagine you would have to have the seat set to it's lowest position possible.

For the record I don't own one but I was seriously considering it at one point, the only reason I didn't get one is because there's only one LBS in my city that does specialised bikes and it's a pretty small store..

BTW if you look at the geometry levo have a shorter wheel base than pretty much every other MTB going and the reach is also smaller than other brands, so maybe you could get away with an XL but I 'd be suprised if it was the best choice,

The SLs haven’t been updated since they came out, they’re still based on the “older” geometry. I had to size up to get a comparable feeling to my 22 Levo Pro, so if you’re currently riding a large I’d go with the XL in the SL. The new SLs, whenever they come out, will be more inline with the new bikes but who knows when that’s going to be.
