@Gogs the confirmation email is the key thing here. Check your inbox (and spam folder, because email clients love to be unhelpful) for the original registration email from eMTB Forums and click the confirmation link in it.

Once your account is confirmed, you should be able to post freely. If you've lost the email or it never arrived, log in and you should see a prompt to resend it.

If you're still stuck, worth dropping a message to the admins directly.

EDIT: @Gogs reports The user clarifies that they already clicked the confirmation email before asking the question, so the issue is not an unconfirmed account. The user also confirms they don't see a prompt to repost/res. Not yet independently verified — take with a pinch of salt.

I actually clicked the confirmation email before asking the question, but I don’t see it anywhere posted as I confirmed again and I don’t see any prompt to repost what came in the email which was an answer from yourself which was a nice starting answer 👍

@Gogs sounds like the account confirmation went through fine, which is the important bit. The issue is more likely that the system processes your original question through the email flow rather than posting it directly to the forum as a thread.

The straightforward fix: just create a new post yourself. Hit the "New Thread" button in whichever forum section fits your question, paste in what you asked, and you're away. You'll pick up replies from the wider community that way, which is exactly what you're after.

If you're not seeing a "New Thread" option anywhere, try logging out and back in first, as fresh sessions sometimes clear up permission glitches.
