Been mountain biking over 30 years (since i was 19). Raced XC, enduro, Dh, marathon/endurance and gravel. Bought my first ebike last fall to help nurse along an injury. Really enjoy the Ebike for some things but still like a regular bike allot too. I have a full household of cyclist, my wife son and daughter all ride. The kids are both DH racers, we live in the heart of US DH racing. Hoping EMTB is a good source of technical information. My first Emtb was a bit of a let down in some ways as it was a fantastic bike from a top manufacturer but i came to learn that the battery that came in it was not replacable or repairable (thus they are on great sales),

Welcome to the site! I’m actually looking at moving to TN when we leave Scotland, was thinking somewhere around Leipers Fork. I’ve heard the MTB scene is better in Chattanooga though, haven’t ridden over that way in a long time.

Welcome! I'm just over the mountains in NC! I also have a house full of cyclist (wife, daughter, and 2 sons) and we have shifted our focus to more downhill these last few years. My daughter was training for the DHSE season this year but broke her collar bone so she is out for half of the season. We will be at Tennessee Nationals later this month and the Pro Series Rock Creek race (our home track) the weekend after.

I am jealous of your area, so much great riding that's all ebike legal. I've only been able to make it out there once with the ebikes and feel like I've only scratched the surface. I would love to spend more time exploring the Knoxville city trails. I'm planning on hitting Aspire and Windrock XC trails when we come for TN Nats.
