Neuron :On battery install issue

Received my wife's Neuron :On today and everything assembled fine except for the battery. The battery mounts into to the frame at the bottom however the top section will not fully seat in the frame and lock in. It feels like something is stopping the battery going back deep enough into the frame to pick up the tongue of the lock. There is one click when you push it in but at this point the battery is not flush in the frame - it is still about 20mm out at the top.

Am I missing something? I have read the manual and googled but have not found any information.

There should be a second click when the battery is fully seated. Check for any cables that might be in the way of the battery insertion path.
