Has anyone ridden both? If so, care to comment on the differences/commonalities? I'm finding that I wish my XL Levo was a bit more confidence inspiring at speed, wondering whether a swap to an XL Meta Power 29 would be a better bike for me.

I have tested new Levo and own 2018 27 Meta Power. Even they are quite different kind of bikes. New Meta Power is slacker and longer on paper than older so I don't think these two 29"s are comparable at all. Levo is a nimble trail bike with steep angles and new Meta Power is a big mountain oriented enduro bike. If you are looking plusher and more stable downhill rig go for it. If riding mellow trails and want bike to be poppy when jumping rocks and roots Levo is a better option. I bought Trek Rail myself since new Meta Power is not availe yet with a bigger battery. Rail is a good option if you are looking for more stable trail bike than Levo.
