Meta power 2018 mango 630wh battery

I want to change a battery but I'm not sure if I can fit 630wh battery on XL frame without changing a shock coil
Do know somebody something about it? Someone has an experience with it?

Hey, yeah I founded by myself it fits but if you have a air shock in XL without problem but if you have a coil shock like I have you must inverts it, I think I'll give it a try one day, I sell my 2 batteries and I'll buy 630wh this year, but yeah you can do it on XL model

Thx for the quick reply! Nice to hear. But you don't ride with the 630Wh yet? I'm curious about the handling with the bigger battery ... . Meta Power is not the lightest bike around. I have a Meta Power Race 27 2018 model. I ride with spare battery in a special backpack. It's ok, but after 50-60km sometimes it's starting to weigh ... . It's not only the spare battery, but also the bladder for drinking, some food or spare clothes. Since I'm planning a transalp, I'm looking for alternatives to carrying a spare battery. Most of the participants have 630Wh battery and just carry the charger along.

I replaced the original coil with an air shock. More agile handling and lighter weight. Now I'm looking to make the bike heavier again with big battery ...

I saw a photo with meta power 2018 fox edition with xl frame and it fits OK, and I have two 504wh batteries but no 630wh but I want to sell one 504wh and buy 630wh this year so fingers crossed

I want to do this to my wife's 2017 Meta Power, but its a medium with a coil, so yeah I'd have to invert the shock. Would love to see some pics of fitment before pulling the trigger on a battery and mounts.

I picked up a 630wh in black friday sale. Clears the shock even when at full compression. On button is under the compression adjuster on the resevoir but can just about reach it!

I've not noticed too much difference in riding it, but difficult to tell in the muddy winter conditions. Even my non-ebike ended up weighing 19kg with all the mud on!

Nice, looks like you have much more space than my L frame with the original coil on it. I get 1mm of clearance when centered, but a slight scratch when inserting and removing it.

Small trick with the water bottle: I fit a standard 500ml bottle with the 500wh battery, and a thinner kids size 350ml bottle with the 630Wh one, using the same bottle holder.

What’s that water bottle setup? Looks like a Fidlock, but what’s the mount?
