Magura MDR-P 220mm rear W011 error

Hi I have changed my rear brake disc to 220mm Magura MDR-P but now getting W011 error for a sensor issue, is this because I need the Magura magnet? I have kept the rotor magnet from the previous disc but it’s not working.
Any ideas?

Hi, it shouldn’t have made any difference. I swapped out mine to the Magura MDR-P 203mm and works perfectly fine . The magnet bracket and the sensor on the lower swing arm obviously haven’t moved , it’s only the diameter of rotor that’s changed. It’s possible the magnet itself has come of the mounting bracket ( I’m talking from experience here , mine did ) I glue it back on with some Alraldite liquid metal.
Check the magnet bracket you have , early version glued to mount and updated version the magnet was encapsulated within the mount.
