You can't.
And this is why I'm not a fan of bafang going canbus on everything, going even further to lock down flashing diffferent firmwares. There could possibly be a 48v firmware if what they claim is true, but we need some proof from them with their claims.

Perhaps he's implying you can stick any voltage battery on any motor? (BESST or firmware change?)
I wish this whole conversation wasn't so cryptic. I understand it could be a language issue.

I much prefer canbus. Canbus is more reliable and less noisy that serial connections.

Anyone know if there is a physical difference between the dp 180 and 181 ? I was told they would replace it if it was a 180 as it was intended to be a 181

@stuff Did you ever try to get the "Rocket" mode to work. Tapping the arrow while in boost to make it add power for a moment?

Which is potentially valuable because if you ever decide to use Besst to program it you don't need a cable.
I've never used Besst, but does this mean if you have a DP181 or other bluetooth display you could use the Besst program without a physical/proprietary cable? i.e. connect to the motor for programming completely wirelessly

Second long test ride after few changes.
1. Rearshock change from DPX2 to DPS
2. Handlebar change from Renthal Carbon with Stem to Kocevlo Direct Mount Carbon
Quite a bit to reduce the weight to exact 20kg from 20.35kg.

Today I ride with my friend using my E10 M510 FC 2.0 motor (with 769Wh) to compare the range. Ride about 57km with 1250m elevation gain.
- CEF50 with M820 73% battery left
- E10 with M510 FC 2.0 75% battery left

I feel more stable and planted when downhill with CEF50. Also Rearshock feel more plush and softer. Climbing uphill feel like the same with M510, I think because of lighter weight (almost 5kg different). I also notice my body get less fatigue than riding M510, I don't know because of the lighter weight of the bike or because of the geometry.

Issue with frame.. the hardware in my hand is a 22.2. It fits the top shock mount but does not fit the bottom shock mount. Anyone else having this issue?
