Looking for lights that will wire into the Yamaha PW-X2 motor but dont want to have an extra button to operate. There is a button already on the control unit for my Haibike Allmtn 7 so want to use this to control.
Question is would this work:
Lezyne E-Bike Macro Drive
?

Yes and no, the 1000lm draws too much current so you'll have to settle for the 500lm model.
You'll just need the short section of loom designed to fit the existing Yamaha plug that's part of the factory fitted wiring.

If you look on the Lezyne website it has a compatibly list.

The Leyzne 1000 works great with the Yam PWX-2 on my Allmtn7. Really bright, simple to install and turns on and off using the light button on the Yamaha controller. The wire runs through the head tube grill down the down tube and connects to the wiring loom by the motor. Very easy access, just remove the 4 screws holding on the splash guard and everything is accessible. You just need an adapter which should have come in your battery box when you bought your bike.
