Hi there,

i realized that my levo Alloy 2022 frame was nearly 0,8Kg heavier than my Kenevo 2020 Alloy frame, both in Size S3.
The welding were much more massive in the levo gen3 frame compared to older levo or kenevo.
No i have seen in the kenevo specs that the 2023 Kenevo Comp an expert are specced about 0,8Kg heavier than the 2020 models (Which also had Coil Shocks in there)
Has there been a change in the frame material for the Kenevo 2023 to cheaper tubes and thicker robot-weldings ? Can anybody confirm this ? Or where could the extra-weight come from ?

best regards,

Chris

It’s my understanding the Kenevo is discontinued. Specialized has not updated the catalog for the Kenevo. As for the different weights, specialized can move the numbers around a little. The Kenevo’s 2020-2021 geo chart had the flip chip in the high position, 2022 had the flip chip in the low position.
