Hi all,
Looking for a bit of help and reassurance that what I think is the problem is actually the problem. This is the first dropper post I've ever used so I don't have any experience with trouble shooting.
The seat is able to ascend and descend perfectly fine but if any weight is added to the seat then it will slip down to its lowest position. When it does this I can hear a slight clicking as if it is slipping over some kind of threading. At first I thought that I might just be me exceeding the weight limits of the dropper post but I then discovered that I could push down the seat just by pushing down using one arm.
There is a slight wobble on the seat but from what I understand from looking at the manual this is normal?
It seems that the seat post is slipping through the seatpost clamp it doesn't seem to be a problem with the actual seat tube. So I just wondered if I should take any extra steps to resolve this or should I just check the torque on the clamp bolt as suggested in the manual? Is there anything additional that I could try if it turns out that the torque is already correct should I just be looking to take it into the bike shop?
Thanks
