Hi, I've been riding an eMTB since 2017 around my home town of Olney in north Bucks. So far I've covered about 8,000 miles mainly off road on my Scott Aspect e720 fixed tail MTB with Bosch Performance Line Cx Gen2. I joined the forum to get advice on what to buy next as my current bike is now displaying it's age. While I think Bosch have been brilliant, I now suspect my motor is in need of attention. On the last few outings I have found the motor struggles to freewheel for a few minutes but then recovers. I'd be very interested to hear from anyone with a similar experience who knows the cure.

Send it for a service. There are lots of places around, there is even a good one on this Forum; "Performance....." something or other.

Hi Steve. I’ve heard good thing about ‘Performance Line Bearings’.
You guys know all about Bosch performance line Cx gen2 motors so perhaps you could comment about any known failure modes that result in the motor freewheel getting sticky when you first start up.
