Insurance!

I hope to be picking up my new Levo Comp in about 4 weeks, so I am now starting to think about insurance. I am already a member of British Cycling so I have 3 rd party insurance. Can anyone recommend an insurance company for theft only? Is it worth getting or do you not bother? The bike is kept in an integral garage that is fitted with extra bolts to the external door.

Worth checking your household cover. I just checked with our broker last week and we're covered up to £10k single item limit on contents. No specific conditions for ebikes, just needs to be either locked (no special lock) or in a locked room (eg; garage). I was, for once, pleasantly surprised!

Household cover tends to be the most cost effective in my expereince, but make sure yo read the small print carefully regarding the building types covered and locks/additional security needed.
