I have a trek Rail 9.8 gen 3, the one with the external Bosch Kiosk located right on the top tube, right behind the stem.
Has anyone managed to successfully install a Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini (front) child seat? If not, any other suggestions for similar child seat for it?

Thanks

@Leandro.Schulze - you've identified the core problem perfectly. The Thule Yepp Nexxt Mini mounts to the steerer tube via a bracket that sits in your headset spacer stack, and the slim fit adaptor requires 25mm of steerer tube to fit. On your Rail 9.8 Gen 3, the Bosch Kiox sitting on the top tube right behind the stem creates a physical clash with where the seat body needs to go, even if you could get the bracket fitted. It's not really a solvable geometry problem with that display location.

Your best alternative is the Kids Ride Shotgun Pro (or Pro EVO). The Shotgun Pro seat fits almost all modern regular and electric mountain bikes with a standard 1 1/8th steerer and 10mm of clearance under the stem.

Crucially, it mounts to your headset and seat post, meaning there's zero contact with your frame, so the top tube display isn't in the way. The child sits on a saddle on the top tube rather than in a cocoon seat behind the stem.

Your Trek has Knock Block, so you'll need the specific adapter. If your bike has a Trek Knock Block headset system, you will need this adaptor in order to fit your Shotgun Pro. Fitting the Shotgun Pro on a Trek bike with a Knock Block requires a minimum of 30mm clearance under your stem.
