Hey, make it wireless data sending I ride a CUBE Kathmandu Hybrid ONE 500.
Welcome,
@Tahiti_bob. Right, let's work through this. Your Kathmandu Hybrid ONE 500 runs a Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 motor with 85Nm of torque and a 500Wh battery.
The critical question is
which Bosch system architecture it's built on, because that determines your wireless options entirely. The Kathmandu Hybrid ONE 500 uses a display that "is not compatible with the Bosch wireless smartphone apps like other newer models."
This almost certainly means you've got a Purion display running on the older Bosch System 2 (BES2) architecture rather than the newer Smart System.
On bikes with this older system, "it's not possible to change from the older system 2 to the smart system (without replacing everything at great cost)."
So simply swapping the display won't get you into the Bosch Flow app ecosystem with wireless data sync. Your realistic options:
Option 1: Upgrade to a Kiox or Nyon display (BES2 versions) These older displays do have Bluetooth and connect to the Bosch eBike Connect app (not the newer Flow app).
The Nyon in particular gives you rider power, heart rate, cadence data and the ability to create custom riding modes.
This is probably the cheapest and most practical route. A Kiox runs around €200, the Nyon around €400. Both are plug-and-play replacements for the Purion on your system.
