How in the heck do you remove your kiox?!!

Silly question, but I can’t figure this thing out! I’ve twisted, pulled up and out, no luck. It seems like it’s locked on my top tube somehow? 2021 Rail. Thanks for the help!

The kiox is magnetic & will just easily pull up & out of the holder fitted to the top tube. But it is possible to attach the kiox to the holder with a screw at the back of holder so it can't come off, will have to remove holder & investigate.

Yeah I spent ages trying to remove mine thinking it was magnetic then realized that its screwed down.

Yes I’m curious if kiok is waterproof as well I just got a rail 9.7 and want to clean it but don’t want to ruin my kiok

My LBS installed the small retaining screw upon assembly before selling the bike. They said it’s their standard MO as many get lost.

They're waterproof as long as the rubber USB port cover is in place correctly. If it's not seated right then water will get in and knacker it.
